SponsorsThe SGB Golf Association of Montreal will be holding its “Ninth Annual Charity Golf Tournament” on Saturday, June 16, 2012. Tournament proceeds will go to support the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation as part of Standard Life’s “Investing in tomorrow” campaign, and to the SGB association to provide for the needs of the underprivileged children in the community. The 2011 event was a resounding success and with the help of our sponsors we were able to raise $56,000. Since the inception of our fund raising tournament we have raised over $229,000. In order to help us reach our objective for 2012 we are soliciting your support in providing a cash donation as outlined below. Gift donations, which can be used for door prizes, are welcomed and the sale of golf tickets is also made available to our sponsors. We ask that each sponsor provide a sign or logo to assist us in providing appropriate recognition for their contribution. In the event that one is not available, tournament organizers will provide a suitable text for display. An honorary mention of your organization’s participation will be communicated during the course of the tournament dinner that evening. As I am sure you are aware, funding for research into children’s diseases as well as community assistance efforts for the needy are increasingly limited. Money raised from individuals and company sponsorships are an integral component in maintaining adequate funding for these worthy causes.
