As is customary, your spouses and friends are invited to participate with you at our tournament. This year’s tournament will be a Shotgun style event. This is a “best ball”approach. All four golfers in a foursome will hit their balls and proceed to the location of the “best of the four balls played”, picking up there “less than best” on the way. From there they will all hit again. Once on the green, all putts will be taken from the position of the closet ball to the pin. Each team of four will only keep one score composed of all the “best strokes”. In other words, you don’t have to be a good, experienced golfer to enjoy this format, although it is suggested that each foursome should have at least one decent ball striker.

Dinner only: $80.00 Brunch and Golf: $100.00 10:00 a.m. Arrival & registration 10:30 a.m. Buffet brunch 12:20 p.m. Goto pre-assigned carts for shot-gun departure 18:30 p.m. Dinner (5 course meal with Roast beef) Italian sausage sandwiches, chicken brochettes, water and or a soft-drink will be served on the playing field.
With this event, tournament proceeds will go to support Standard Life’s efforts to invest in children’s well-being, the Foundation for Research into Children’s Diseases, and to the San Giovanni Bosco Foundation to provide for the needs of the underprivileged children of the community. Your completed entry form must reach us by June 1, 2009. Please respond as soon as you can.
